Cooee Architecture is a regional practice focusing on energy-efficient, resilient and low-carbon homes. Cooee practices throughout the Victorian High Country, NSW Snowy Mountains, ACT and surrounds.
Services include retrofit advice, renovation, new build, and small unique projects (like farmstay accommodation). Cooee prioritises a healthy collaborative process between the client, builder, and architect, often from concept design through to construction completion.
Sarah Lebner, Director, was previously the Principal Architect at Light House Architecture and Science in Canberra. Her work in this multi-disciplinary practice included science-collaborative services and the development of a modular design and specification process for greater efficiency and accessibility to architecture. Sarah was the recipient of the 2023 Dulux Study Tour Prize, and the Australian Institute of Architect’s 2020 National Emerging Architect Prize winner.
