MOA.studio is a Melbourne based architecture practice led by registered architect Matthew Oczkowski. I work closely with homeowners, builders and consultants to design homes that are functional, comfortable and well aligned with the needs of each owner. I collaborate with Certified Passivehaus builders to achieve high performance outcomes, and my commitment to this work was recently recognised with the 2025 ArchiTeam Passivhaus Scholarship.
MOA.studio provides architectural services from early feasibility and concept design through to planning, documentation and construction support. My work focuses on reuse, passive design and practical strategies that improve comfort and energy performance. I actively advocate for the transition away from gas, supporting clients to create all electric, energy efficient homes that are resilient and future focused.
I also advocate for homelessness support services, and part of my onboarding process invites clients to donate to a youth homelessness charity in place of an initial consultation fee.
