SV Built is a boutique Adelaide builder specialising in Passive House and
healthy, high-performance homes. Founded in 2015, we design and construct a
small number of homes each year — custom new builds, renovations and additions,
subdivisions and developments, and turnkey projects — across Adelaide and the
western suburbs, including Henley Beach, West Lakes, Grange and Semaphore.
Our work is grounded in building science. Every home is built for thermal
comfort, low running costs and clean indoor air, using the fundamentals that
actually make the difference: a well-insulated, airtight building envelope,
thermal-bridge-free detailing, and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery
(MVHR). Performance isn't a claim — it's measured. Airtightness is verified by
blower-door testing, and we take projects as far as certified Passive House
where that's the goal.
We deliberately keep our project load small so each build gets proper
attention: careful detailing, considered material choices, and respect for the
trade, the client and the site. That focus shows in the finish — and in how the
homes perform years after handover.
